Let’s hope that this get killed.  It’s absolutely sickening that this was even passed in the first place. Why should the poor foot the bill for any cuts whilst tax dodgers get away with impunity?

*fingers crossed*

i think it should be clarified whether someone who lives in london and is on jobseekers allowance receiving £71 per week, will have to find twenty pounds shortfall or more per week. my maths says 8 quid a week for water rates, plus twenty on average, plus thirty pounds for energy. that leaves a grand total of 13 pounds per week for food. is this fair mr cameron, nick clegg, steve webb, lord freud, and all those who are punting this ill thought policy. if there is to be a 500 pound cap, there should also be a 71 pound cap.

The whole thing is a scandal. Utterly, utterly reprehensible. The next election will have this and other recent débâclés hanging very heavily over their heads. Rightly so.
